Important Update: Fully Bulk Billed Practice
As of 1 November 2025, our centre is now a fully bulk-billed practice for all current Medicare card holders.
This means there will be no out-of-pocket cost for standard GP consultations when a valid Medicare card is presented.
Please note that procedure fees and treatment room costs may still apply for additional services (e.g. , iron infusions, excisions, or other minor procedures).

No Show and Cancellation of Appointment less than 2hours of notice
Please notify reception well in advance (minimum 2hr prior) if you are unable to attend an appointment. Failure to attend will incur a $70 cancellation fee.
To address high demand and reduce missed appointments, Cannington Family Doctors has implemented a non-attendance fee policy.
If you do not attend your scheduled GP appointment without providing at least two hours’ notice, a non-attendance fee starting from $70.00 will apply, depending on the length of the appointment booked. This fee must be paid before any future appointments can be scheduled.
Fees may vary depending on the appointment type and the practitioner. Please note that our reception staff are unable to make decisions on behalf of the doctors regarding fee waivers or exceptions.
